History

My name is Bob Sibigtroth. My wife Kelly and I own the Schielka Addison Street Funeral Home. The funeral home opened at this location in 1957. In 1981 Mr. Schielka sold the funeral home to my parents. I have been involved in funeral service my whole life as my father started teaching me this business at a very young age. Sadly, the final lesson I learned from my parents came when I lost them.  The profound grief devastated my family and I. Through that experience I have gained a unique perspective into how grief can impact your life. That's why we are here to offer you all the compassion and support possible.

Our chapels are spacious and comfortable. Our coffee lounge is large and cozy. We offer our families a peaceful setting to honor, mourn, and celebrate the life of their loved one. We promise to listen to you and be by your side during this very difficult time.

Our mission is to comfort you and guide you in planning whatever service you feel is appropriate for your family. We offer preplanning and I pledge to keep my prices as reasonable and affordable as possible.
